The Vollrath® heavy-duty automatic slicer is built for hours of hard work. This slicer can be operated automatically or manually, depending on your preference. The variable-speed automatic carriage improves versatility, and the food fence firmly holds foods in place during slicing. The hard-coated anodized aluminum exterior and stainless steel base are built to last, and the QuanTanium® coated nonstick plate reduces drag while also making this slicer easier to clean.  This belt-driven slicer has a reliable belt that will last for years, and a built-in sharpener easily maintains your high-quality blade. The 35-degree gravity feed improves productivity and ease of use, and a slice-adjustment knob creates consistent slices up to 13/16 inch thick. A blade rim guard and a safety hand guard prevent accidental injury, as does a safety cover under the motor. For easy cleaning, the carriage can be removed, and a kickstand allows you to clean underneath the slicer.
